Executive Summary

MetaViewer is an ECM system that has evolved from nearly 30 years of managing data streams (think greenbar printouts). The result is a platform that can capture, fully index, and share large amounts of data with very high efficiency. The philosophy at Metafile, the company that makes MetaViewer, is to not use paper in the first place. In order to accomplish this, MetaViewer was purposefully built to capture data in its most raw forms - like print streams and COLD/ERM outputs, but it can also handle input from scanners, emails, and standard workflow data as well (rich text documents and spreadsheet files).
