Executive Summary

What do Pfizer, Boeing and the U.S Department of State have in common? They all rely on Adlib software for server-based document transformation. Adlib Software’s Express Server offers conversion of over 300 legacy and niche file types to PDF, XPS, HTML, and many other document types. Express Server then provides OCR, not just on a full-text basis, but also over images and captions embedded inside documents. Publishing is the final step when documents are split or merged, with hyperlinks and bookmarks managed, in an automated yet customizable basis. These published documents are then integrated within Microsoft SharePoint as well as EMC Documentum, OpenText and any other ECM applications. By including document conversion, recognition and publishing, without click charges, Adlib Express Server promises to be as cost-effective as it is compelling.
